    ok, so i'm back. seattle was good. and canada was absolutely amazing! i had the best time in victoria. there was so much to see and the people there were so nice. i would love to take a trip back to canada and actually stay more than 2 days. so it was good to get away for a while but then it was time to come home. so now i have no money but i got a job at lone star so hopefully the money will be good soon.

    dixie and i have decided to move into the dorms together. i'm soooo ready. this semester should be a good one. hopefully new york over fall break and many road trips to follow. i'm ready to get back into a routine. i've felt so worthless over the summer. i've been unemployed for over a month and it's been a nice break but it's time to get back into focus. so many things in my life have changed this summer. i'm ready for this change and it's got me excited

    wow. long time no update. soooo many things have happened. work hasn't been bad. dave turned 21!! good times. great friends.

    so i think i have decided that when i go out to see my mom in a week, i won't be coming back until the begining of august. i think it's going to benefit me in ways i can't even explain. i can't wait to spend time with my mom, grandma, and sean. i already talked to my mom about it and i think i've already got a job lined up. i'll be cleaning boats at a boat dock while i'm out there. it'll be hard work, but something different that i wouldn't be able to do if i was here. i'm going to miss everything and everyone here, but this is something i need to do. i'll be back in time for christa's wedding because i love her very much and wouldn't miss it for the world.

    so things are looking in a good direction. i have a new job. it's not too bad. i worked a double yesterday and today i'm pretty tired. it's decent money and is better than the last one. the only bad things is that i always have cash on me and i tend to spend more money that way. there are so many things that i would like to buy. it's a good thing i'm working 6 days this week because i'm in the mood to spend money.

    it feels so nice to be out of classes. i haven't gotten back all of my grades yet, but hopefully they'll be posted soon. the class that i was most worried about i made a B- in, so hopefully the rest will be as good and better.

    i went camping last night for the first time this year. it was pretty fun. i woke up really cold and kind of wet though. i love going camping though, so it was a good time. i'd like to buy some good camping gear...hmmm. there is a dress on  the patagonia website that i must have very soon. it's $42 which is entirely too expensive but i must own it.
